Instructional Video for Alberta Environment's Online Water Use Reporting (WUR) System

The Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) has completed their Conservation, Efficiency, and Productivity (CEP) Sector Plan on behalf of the “Urban Municipal” sector. The WURS video was developed to address one of the AUMA sector plan targets:

“By December 31, 2010 all urban municipalities with water systems in place will report water use data through Alberta Environment’s Online Water Use Reporting System (WURS).”

Alberta Environment's online water use reporting system has been operational since 2006 and has been steadily increasing their users ever since.  To encourage more licensees to understand the enrollment process and use the system, this simple instructional video was developed. This video is intended to provide first-time users with a step by step guide on how to access Alberta Environment’s Online Water Use Reporting System.  The purpose is to assist users in becoming more proficient in accessing the online WUR system and entering water use data online.

Please note if your licence is new or has recently been amended to include water use reporting, you will have to contact the Regulatory Approvals Centre to get your PIN number and temporary enrolment ID in order to access the WUR system:
