Mission

The Alberta Water Council is a multi-stakeholder partnership that provides leadership, expertise and sector knowledge to engage and empower industry, non-governmental organizations, and governments to achieve the outcomes of the Water for Life strategy.

Values

The Alberta Water Council, individually and collectively, is guided in its activities by a desire to be:

• Collaborative:  The Council will work with individuals, organizations, industry and governments to build consensus.
• Fair:  The Council will not be biased toward any individual, organization, business or government.
• Innovative:  The Council will bring together expertise and experience to find the best solution to provincial water management issues.
